Horse Riding Camp in Niles, MI

Bittersweet Pet Resort and Stables offers Horse Riding Camps for riders of all skill levels. New riders start out in our Beginner Horse Riding Camp and can move on to Intermediate and Advanced Riding Camps. Call us for more information!

Enjoy hands-on behind the scenes experiences at our farm, learning how we care for our horses through barn activities and arts and crafts. Students take a daily riding lesson and the last day of camp is an exhibition for our campers to showcase their new equestrian skills. Bittersweet's Summer Horse Camps are celebrating our 19th year anniversary.

Riders will learn responsibilities of care for a horse including how to approach a horse, lead, halter and unhalter, how to properly groom a horse and parts of the horse. Riding lessons will teach the rider to mount/dismount, walk, halt, and some trotting.
