BITTERSWEET PET RESORT & STABLES

Bittersweet Pet Resort is a modern boarding and grooming facility.  It was built using the highest quality and most up-to-date kennel design and constructions.  We provide individual care for your pet and strive to make every pet feel that Bittersweet Pet Resort is their "home away from home"!

Owners and operators, Sandra and Andrew Stern, live on the premises.  Sandra is a licensed Veterinary Technologist, a Certified Professional Groomer, and has a Bachelor degree in Animal Science.

All employees are certified in canine Red Cross First Aid.  Manager, Lia, is certified in feline Red Cross First Aid as well.

Lia

Lia is the Manager at Bittersweet.  Lia is very valuable to us at Bittersweet.  She has been caring for your pets since August 2004.  Lia has a special talent working with animals.  They feel very comfortable and at home in Lia's care.  Lia has also learned the talent of grooming and works hard at making your pets beautiful.
She is currently working on getting certified as a Tellington t-touch practitioner and will be offering this service to our clients starting in November. T-touch is holistic health care, behavior and training approach for your horse, dog, cat or other pet. For more information go to their website www.ttouch.com.

Jason H.

Jason H. has joined Bittersweet as the stable manager and riding instructor.  He is an experienced rider and teacher. He previously was the manager and instructor for special needs children at Hannah and Friends in South Bend.

Lynna

Lynna has been caring for all our four-legged friends for several years. She worked Holidays and summer's while still in school, and now is a very important addition to her sister, Lia, in taking the best care for all our visitors.
